I feel a slight ambition when I mellow inside my existence
Confronted by my harmony when it speaks, it's a bit submissive
Appalled by all concerns when they fly around my persistence
A bit of arrogance peaks as I walk without recognition
Avoiding all my obstacles, struggles, navigating towards my hustle
A mind blowing affect sonic booms at the sight of all aggression
I'd advance without acceptance
Get my point across not needing words
A type of personality not usually seen
A voice not really heard
In my generation it's a concern
I speak with a train of thought
Fear lost in all expression

I AM.....
I, Stephanie Marquisha Davis, am a sarcastic bundle of
expression. I forever will be this way. I enjoy my sarcastic tone, and love
feeling free, and comfortable expressing myself. I am a little moody,
weird, quiet and sometimes distant. At the same time, I am very loving , persistent,
goal- orientated, creative, goofy funny, and willing to help those in need. I AM
ME! Never to be confused with someone else. Although comparisons are always
flattering. (To the other person and myself) I enjoy writing, listening to
music, and dancing to everything. As long as the doors closed and locked.
Reading strikes my creativity, and enhances my imagination. To the point that I
become the character. I've always loved making people smile, and hate seeing
others hurt, struggling or feeling left out. I make jokes, and mess with people
to break the ice. I'd never make a harmful joke. I laugh to myself when I
remember something funny. Usually at the most awkward times. My little
Stephanie moments. When I'm bored I eat, or excited. I'll eat when I'm hungry,
or even if I just smell food. In case you have not caught on.......I love to
eat . My personality is a contradiction. I can be very arrogant, but humble.
Extremely sarcastic, but very understanding. One of the nicest people you will
run into, but blunt to the point that you're speechless. I am....an
intelligent, sometimes soft spoken, productive young lady on a mission. I AM
ME!
Faith in America
“We are developing a Faith in America’s future.” Exactly what President Barack Obama expressed during his inaugural address for his second Presidential Inauguration. Usually being held on January 20th, this time we celebrated one special event on an even more special holiday. This being President Obama's last imagination Ceremony, what better way to spend it then on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Now because of the amendment stating that the Presidential Oath must be held on the 20th of January, the President had a private ceremony on that Sunday, which Monday’s ceremony more for the public viewing. At that it was. With stellar performances by BeyoncĂ©, Kelly Clarkson, and musical contributions of the United States Marine Band, it was surely an event full of inspiration, emotion, and faith. Obamas target on gun control, climate change, immigration reform reminds us all of why he is perfect for this position. Though the moment when he stops, takes a moment to admire the West Front of the Capital: telling those near him; "I want to take a look one more time, I'm not going to see this again". That makes him the relatable human being that has helped keep him in office.

The only way to sleep on Sammie, is to have his tranquil voice playing from his love defining mix tape Insomnia. This Indie recording artist shows that with God and family, anything is possible. being the humble nine year vet that he is, Sammie has no problem sharing his insight. From relationships, values, healthy lifestyles, and random silliness on Instagram. Sammie gives you the opportunity to learn him as an artist. His 45 minute YouTube documentary displays his talents, tour life and responsibility as a son and devoted brother, and A few guest appearances from his industry friends, Dough Boy, Atlanta Hawks star Buddy " Lou Walls", and not forgetting Producer/mentor Troy Taylor: You may recognize Troy from working with recording artist Trey Songz. Sammie shows that even with being a vet in the game, there's ALWAYS an opportunity that you can learn something new. "KEEP JUMPING" when an obstacle comes your way. A dream is a desire, accomplished by those who seek success.

Showing a more vintage, trapped in the 90s flare. She describes what she wants her music to reflect. To bring the true R&B back. Not stopping her from gracing covers of Bleu magazine or getting bit by the acting bug. Playing along side greats like Mekhi Phiffer, in a Ronnie Warner directed film, "Love Section". looking forward to seeing what this Lady of R&B has to offer.

First comes.. Love?
It's almost becoming a pattern with me. My blog entry’s tweets and strides in life motivate me. It's no different from a rapper going on about what they want, have, and where they been to get to where they are. Or plan to be in the future. Right now my thoughts are love. So what would be better than Valentine’s Day to post a blog on defining love? Not that I don't have other goals. It's just what happens to me when I get in my routine. Find a guy or they find me, start a conversation which leads to a happy loving relationship. Then we split up. I take a year break, and run into another guy. So on and so on. ALWAYS with the intent on not falling......and then I come to that never ending fall off the most dangerous cliff I could find. I always survive, but the pain and bruises after getting caught up always leave a small scar. Getting trapped on that eerie emotional roller coaster and facing battles that have you debating your personal choices in life. Convincing yourself with.. "I should stay because, "or "He really does care about me!" All while thinking others don't stand a chance leading towards the terrible uncomfortable feeling of being kept a secret to the one you love unconditionally. Is this love? So many people these days define love by what they see in a romantic movie, a love song or with someone close. Not saying that it can't be true, but is it for you? Can you base your love off of a fairytale or others perceptions?

Django Unchained - Official Trailer (HD)
What better way to end the year. Django ,and yes the D is silent, was one of the most inclined movies to hit the big screen. Ranging from comedy, action, romance and of course passion. All of the actors and staff that are apart of this team showed their ass. Literally! Jamie Foxx never ceases to amaze me.Showing exactly what it is to be a triple threat. Singing, Acting comedy, what is there that this man of inspiration cant do? While there are many funny moments in the movie. Its hard to detour away from the acts of slavery showed in the film. Watching a human with the same ,what you might call face, as you be beaten is never an easy sight. The strength and heart that Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington(along with the other actors) showed in this film is inspirational. The fact that they wound go that extra mile to understand the pain of being a slave, just to give us, the audience a momentum movie,truly shows what type of actors they are. I'm sure it was not easy for Leonardo DiCaprio or Christophe Waltz tolet the N word roll of their tongues either. All in all its definitely not a surprise that the film has won awards such as, Golden Globe award, Best supporting Actor-Film, National Board of Review for Best Supporting Actor, Critics Choice Award for best Original Screenplay. Quentin Tarantino, Director and Screenplay writer must be proud. Looking forward to seeing more work from him, and the great contributors who made this film what it was. Inspiring.

nba all star
Probably one of the best voting seasons (next to Obama
getting a second term) NBA All star weekend is here. With the starters being
named January 17, and the location confirmed to take place in Houston Texas
February 14- 17, 2013 on TNT. True basketball fiends, and those who are just in
it for the festivities, are already taking to their social media sites ranting and
representing for their favorite players and coast. While Houston natives
prepare for the A list celebrities, charities and parties that are due to flood
the scene. The Houston Toyota Center will host events for the weekend a second
year since 2006. Ranging from popular events, such as the Slam Dunk contest. And
the all time favorite Celebrity Basketball Game. Although the players names
have yet to be released, I'm putting my bet down that KD is going to be a crowd
favorite for the dunk contest. Now for the Celebrity basketball game, I'd love
to see the ladies takeover with players like Ciara, La La Anthony and Beyoncé (
just to name a few) showing that we are more then fierce with a nice set of
legs to run the world.

A taste of summer. Sevyn Streeter's new single "I like it" gives you that feeling of driving down Sunset with the top down. The anthem displays that love hate relationship that we all go through. With a 90s vibe giving you that true R&B that the game has been missing. In the video Sevyn displays all of her natural talents. From her pitch perfect vocals to her boom boom clap dance moves that have you grooving in your seat. She may not be new to the game but she is a breath of fresh air. Being a former member of female group Rich Girls and backup vocalist for R&B heartthrob and label owner Chris Brown. It's no wonder that she will power ball the
industry.
