Please Excuse my Arrogance
I feel a slight ambition when I mellow inside my existence
Confronted by my harmony when it speaks, it's a bit submissive
Appalled by all concerns when they fly around my persistence
A bit of arrogance peaks as I walk without recognition
Avoiding all my obstacles, struggles, navigating towards my hustle
A mind blowing affect sonic booms at the sight of all aggression
I'd advance without acceptance
Get my point across not needing words
A type of personality not usually seen
A voice not really heard
In my generation it's a concern
I speak with a train of thought
Fear lost in all expression
A confidence painted like art
Humbled by my growth
Acknowledge for my past
Followed for my progression
Torn down so it wouldn't last
My future is a vision for what most will only dream
Reality dreamer is only a word. My life is what it means.

I AM.....
I, Stephanie Marquisha Davis, am a sarcastic bundle of
expression. I forever will be this way. I enjoy my sarcastic tone, and love
feeling free, and comfortable expressing myself. I am a little moody,
weird, quiet and sometimes distant. At the same time, I am very loving , persistent,
goal- orientated, creative, goofy funny, and willing to help those in need. I AM
ME! Never to be confused with someone else. Although comparisons are always
flattering. (To the other person and myself) I enjoy writing, listening to
music, and dancing to everything. As long as the doors closed and locked.
Reading strikes my creativity, and enhances my imagination. To the point that I
become the character. I've always loved making people smile, and hate seeing
others hurt, struggling or feeling left out. I make jokes, and mess with people
to break the ice. I'd never make a harmful joke. I laugh to myself when I
remember something funny. Usually at the most awkward times. My little
Stephanie moments. When I'm bored I eat, or excited. I'll eat when I'm hungry,
or even if I just smell food. In case you have not caught on.......I love to
eat . My personality is a contradiction. I can be very arrogant, but humble.
Extremely sarcastic, but very understanding. One of the nicest people you will
run into, but blunt to the point that you're speechless. I am....an
intelligent, sometimes soft spoken, productive young lady on a mission. I AM
ME!
Faith in America
“We are developing a Faith in America’s future.” Exactly what President Barack Obama expressed during his inaugural address for his second Presidential Inauguration. Usually being held on January 20th, this time we celebrated one special event on an even more special holiday. This being President Obama's last imagination Ceremony, what better way to spend it then on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Now because of the amendment stating that the Presidential Oath must be held on the 20th of January, the President had a private ceremony on that Sunday, which Monday’s ceremony more for the public viewing. At that it was. With stellar performances by BeyoncĂ©, Kelly Clarkson, and musical contributions of the United States Marine Band, it was surely an event full of inspiration, emotion, and faith. Obamas target on gun control, climate change, immigration reform reminds us all of why he is perfect for this position. Though the moment when he stops, takes a moment to admire the West Front of the Capital: telling those near him; "I want to take a look one more time, I'm not going to see this again". That makes him the relatable human being that has helped keep him in office.
